Comprehensive knowledge
of real estate accounting and valuation

The webcast “Real Estate Accounting” focuses on the basics of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the classification of real estate in accordance with IFRS, its recognition and classification, and the topic of leasing.
  In addition, the webcast “International Real Estate Valuation” covers the different definitions of value and market-based, non-standardized valuation methods in international real estate valuation. A special focus is placed on the derivation of relevant market parameters, the basic functions of financial mathematics used to calculate present values, and the plausibility of the results. The webcast rounds off the topic with current developments in the real estate markets and topics such as digitalization. Participants thus gain in-depth insights into the theory and practice of real estate valuation at national and international level. The webcast “Fundamentals of Financial Mathematics” is included free of charge when purchasing the complete package.

The lecture “International Real Estate Valuation” examines both value definitions and market-standard non-standardized valuation methods. Particular emphasis is placed on deriving the relevant market parameters, the basic functions of financial mathematics used to calculate present values, and the plausibility of the results. The lecture is rounded off by topics such as digitization and current developments in the real estate markets.

Fundamentals of Financial Mathematics

Time: 1 x approx. 2 hours – Prof. Dr. Tobias Just (FRICS), IREBS Real Estate Academy

Financial mathematics is an essential foundation, especially for the real estate industry. This is due in particular to the long-term time and planning horizons of real estate, which focus on the time value of money. The focus is on interest and annuity calculations, supplemented by credit and repayment as well as investment calculations (including complete financial plans).
